Find the Perfect Adaptive Fit with RareWear

At RareWear, we know comfort, dignity, and confidence start with clothing that fits well. Our adaptive bodysuits and clothing are designed especially for children with disability, including autism, cerebral palsy (CP), global developmental delay, sensory sensitivities, mobility challenges, and those who wear nappies or continence aids.

How to Choose the Right Size

We offer sizes 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14. These relate to general age ranges, but children with disability often grow and develop differently, so checking measurements is essential.

Tip: Measure your child's clothes that they currently fit into- Not the child themselves as we know this can be a challenge.

For the best fit:

  • use our size chart measurements rather than age alone

  • pay close attention to all measurements

  • consider sizing up if your child is tall, wears a nappy, or needs extra space for feeding tubes, stomas, or other medical devices

Designed for Real Needs

RareWear sizing supports:

  • children with sensory challenges who need comfortable seams and fabrics

  • wheelchair users requiring extra length and secure coverage

  • feeding tube access and medical needs without discomfort

  • children who need adaptive, functional clothing funded by the NDIS

Whether your child has autism, CP, complex medical needs, or simply needs clothing that supports comfort and independence, our size guide helps you choose the best option for everyday wear, school, hydrotherapy, and therapy sessions.
